Whistle Stop
LOLA Architecture is working with Whistle Stop Holdings on the design of a new mixed-use multi-family project on the existing Whistle Stop Pub site in Courtenay, BC. The existing site currently has a small pub and a large parking lot. The project will be phased and will begin by constructing a new five-storey development on the existing parking lot and subsequently demolish the pub after construction is complete.
The development will have four residential levels (30 units in total) with majestic views to the estuary or Comox glacier, a ground floor pub and liquor store, and two levels of below-grade parking. The project is in the design development phase and currently pending land-use and development permit approval.
