The Lionel Residence is a new bungalow for a family of four designed to fit in with the surrounding community. The main project goal was to design a home where the quality of the space was more important than the quantity with an emphasis on outdoor space as well as indoor.

The final design is a 1,650 sq. ft. home with vaulted ceilings that is located on the site to both work with the neighbouring homes and allow space in the pie-shaped backyard to house a full-size half basketball court. The aesthetic of the home takes queues from the community’s midcentury modern vibe and the surrounding prairies and mountains.
